Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Store Manager In Training to join Kennie's Market's Inc team. Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Manage operations, control payroll, expenses, inventory, and waste.
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation, cleanliness, and food handling standards.
  • Maintain quality and freshness standards.
  • Oversee store security, maintenance, safety, and HR compliance.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, associates, and vendors.

Employee Relations and Human Services

  • Recruit, interview, and select employees.
  • Conduct new employee orientation and provide ongoing training.
  • Supervise, train, evaluate, and develop department managers.
  • Manage scheduling and performance evaluations.
  • Handle employee turnover, coaching, and counseling.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Directly supervise Department Managers and employees.
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with policies and laws.
  • Plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; address complaints and resolve problems.
