Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Store Manager In Training to join Kennie's Market's Inc team. This role offers a competitive starting salary between $950-$1,050 weekly along with a range of benefits including employee discounts, retirement plans, insurance options, paid time off, and more.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Manage operations, control payroll, expenses, inventory, and waste.
- Ensure compliance with sanitation, cleanliness, and food handling standards.
- Maintain quality and freshness standards.
- Oversee store security, maintenance, safety, and HR compliance.
- Communicate effectively with customers, associates, and vendors.
Employee Relations and Human Services
- Recruit, interview, and select employees.
- Conduct new employee orientation and provide ongoing training.
- Supervise, train, evaluate, and develop department managers.
- Manage scheduling and performance evaluations.
- Handle employee turnover, coaching, and counseling.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Directly supervise Department Managers and employees.
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with policies and laws.
- Plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; address complaints and resolve problems.
