Job Description

We are seeking compassionate individuals to fill the position of Caregiver at Sevita, a leading provider of home and community-based specialized health care. As a Caregiver Direct Support Professional (DSP) at REM West Virginia, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Your responsibilities will include providing assistance with personal hygiene, supporting individuals in daily activities, and fostering community integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with developmental goals such as budgeting, dental hygiene, and nutrition.
• Support individuals with various needs, including autism and related conditions.
• Promote independence and quality of life for participants.
• Collaborate with a team of supervisors and healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of participants.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of experience in human services or direct care preferred.
• Valid Driver's License and access to a registered vehicle in some positions.
• Must exhibit patience, compassion, reliability, and responsibility.
