Apple Tree Kids is seeking a dedicated and experienced Child Care Director to join our team at the Chesapeake location. As a vital part of our organization, you will oversee and manage all child care activities to ensure high-quality services for children of all ages. Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate Infant Care, Preschool, School-Age, Summer Camp, and Academy programs.
• Supervise and train child care staff, ensuring high-quality program activities.
• Ensure compliance with state and local regulations and maintain relationships with licensing agencies and parent groups.
• Implement safety procedures and maintain program facilities and equipment.
• Organize events for children and families, furthering the mission of Apple Tree Learning Center.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a coordinator or supervisor of child care programs.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid CPR, First Aid, Virginia Pre-service Training, and MAT Training certifications within 30 days of hire.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
• Positive role model with supervisory responsibilities.
