Job Description
Christopher Community, Inc. (CCI) is looking for a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our housing units across Upstate New York, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for low- and moderate-income families and seniors.
Responsibilities
- Mow lawns, trim weeds, and perform landscaping tasks.
- Complete snow removal duties during winter months.
- Conduct routine maintenance on mechanical systems.
- Respond to emergency repair needs and lockouts.
- Perform repairs related to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building construction.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2-5 years of related work experience.
- Technical/trade backgrounds in HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical are desirable.
- Valid Class D driver's license required.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
