Maintenance Technician (Part-Time)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team in a part-time capacity at Joyce University's Draper, UT campus. The ideal candidate will perform various facilities repair and maintenance tasks, demonstrating proficiency in trades, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities include handling repairs, responding to maintenance requests, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle repair/patching, painting/finishing tasks
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies
• Inspect facilities regularly and address potential maintenance issues
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
• Basic cleaning, groundskeeping, snow removal

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency
• 5+ years experience in maintenance role
• Proficiency in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting
• Strong problem-solving and time management skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects and knowledge of safety regulations
