Job Description
We are looking for an Operations Assistant to join our team at Truck and Trailer Specialties, Inc. As a family-owned company with two Michigan locations, we have been serving the public works industry since 1974, with a focus on plow trucks. Responsibilities
- Communicate with customers and vendors in person, by phone, and via email.
- Open and track service work orders
- Audit employee time clock activity
- Assist customers with part pick-ups and direct them to the parts department.
- Work closely with shop manager and team leads to schedule deliveries.
- Prepare outgoing and incoming packages.
- Invoice customers daily and accept payments from customers.
- Confirm and track purchase orders.
- Answer and direct incoming calls.
- Perform filing tasks.
- Maintain and tidy office areas.
- Provide operational support to shop manager and others.
- Place purchase orders.
- Order and maintain office supplies.
