Position Summary
The Registered Staff Nurse will be responsible for delivering compassionate and efficient patient care, maintaining accurate medical records, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. The role requires critical thinking, exceptional communication skills, and a commitment to upholding nursing standards and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Comply with departmental policies, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Evaluate patient care outcomes and adjust nursing processes as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and provide post-discharge care planning.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care.
- Supervise and support LPNs, CNAs & IAs.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school with active Kansas license.
- Continuing education requirements to keep nursing license current.
- Certifications in ACLS, PALS, and CPR.
- Demonstrated professionalism in patient care and team collaboration.
