Job Description
We are looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Operations Lead to join ALDI. This is a full-time position, requiring 30-35 hours per week at a starting wage of $23.00 per hour. The selected candidate will play a key role in leading warehouse operations and ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of products to stores. Responsibilities include creating shipping schedules, receiving and verifying product, supervising staging and product selection, optimizing storage and fulfillment, as well as supporting team communication and development.
Responsibilities
- Daily shipping schedules creation.
- Product receipt verification and reporting discrepancies.
- Supervision of staging, pallet construction, and product selection.
- Efficient storage, supply, and equipment handling.
- Facilitation of store communication and order fulfillment.
- Supervision and communication of job responsibilities and performance expectations.
- Collaboration with colleagues and departments, and reporting of necessary issues to management.
- Assistance with action plans development and implementation for improved operation results and personnel development.
- Regularly scheduled team meeting planning and facilitation.
- Inventory operational controls and warehouse inventory counts execution.
- General cleaning duties and maintenance of warehouse appearance standards and safety requirements.
- Inspections of inbound deliveries and fulfillment verification.
- Administrative support at the central desk as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Efficient and accurate product selection ability.
- Proper operation of powered industrial equipment.
- Cooperation and collaboration within a group and positive relationships development.
- Interpretation and application of company policies and procedures.
- Problem-solving skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to organize and conduct group meetings and facilitate involvement.
