1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at ALDI. As a critical member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, performing general cleaning tasks, and collaborating with the warehouse team to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Cooperate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Ensure product quality, safety, and sanitation standards are met.
• Perform tasks accurately and efficiently within company policies.
• Operate equipment safely and according to guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to perform tasks that require physical effort, such as lifting and moving up to 45 pounds.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Capability to work independently and in a team environment.
