1st Shift Warehouse Stocker

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join our team at Aldi. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in efficiently managing stock within the warehouse, ensuring order fulfillment and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders effectively.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Perform general cleaning duties to uphold warehouse appearance standards and safety requirements.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and warehouse leadership.
• Provide feedback to improve warehouse processes and assist in achieving goals.
• Inspect product quality and address safety and sanitation concerns.
• Operate equipment safely and follow ergonomic guidelines.
• Perform tasks accurately, efficiently, and within company policies.

Job Qualifications:

• Minimum age of 18 to work at Aldi.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail.
• Basic arithmetic skills, working both independently and within a team environment.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift and move products up to 45 pounds, operate powered industrial equipment, work in varying temperatures, and perform various physical tasks.
