Job Description
1st Shift Warehouse Team Member
We are looking for a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a team member, you will play a crucial role in receiving, relocating, sorting, and loading merchandise in the warehouse. You will also collaborate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
- Relocate merchandise according to product handling guidelines.
- Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically for shipment.
- Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance standards.
- Cooperate and interact effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
- Provide input for process improvements.
- Inspect product quality and report issues.
- Work independently and within a team to achieve warehouse goals.
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Demonstrate conscientiousness and collaboration.
- Possess a positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
- Organize and execute tasks efficiently.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
- Move merchandise and prepare products for delivery.
- Engage in various physical activities in the warehouse environment.
- Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
