Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Sales Coordinator to join the team at Eliza's Attic Thrift Boutique, part of Bishop Gadsden's Charitable Giving and Communications department. As the Sales Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the manager with the day-to-day operations of the store and ensuring customer satisfaction. This position involves a variety of tasks, from overseeing store operations to managing social media updates for Eliza's Attic.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Attic Manager to supervise daily store activities.
  • Operate the store during scheduled hours, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Handle sales transactions and cash register reconciliation.
  • Assist in pricing, displaying, and arranging items in the store.
  • Promote Eliza's Attic on social media platforms to attract more customers.
  • Coordinate donation pickups and assist in moving items safely.
  • Support overall sales efforts and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and POS software.
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and able to handle challenging situations with tact.
  • Minimum of three years of work experience, retail experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed.
  • Knowledge of antiques and ability to read written material.
