Behavioral Health Nurse 2 (RN) - Relocation Offered

Job Description

Marion County is looking for a dedicated Behavioral Health Nurse 2 (RN) to join our team. As a Behavioral Health Nurse, you will provide direct nursing care to adults with serious mental illnesses and co-occurring substance use disorders in a fast-paced outpatient setting. Your responsibilities will include completing nursing assessments, administering injections, coordinating care and medications, and overseeing the daily operations of the outpatient clinic under the Nurse Program Manager's guidance.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care, including assessments, injections, and emotional support.
• Coordinate care and medications for individuals in service.
• Oversee daily operations of the outpatient clinic and assign duties to staff.
• Lead and coordinate nursing staff to ensure quality care and problem-solving.

Requirements

• Associate degree in nursing with four years of behavioral health nursing experience, or equivalent.
• Current license to practice as a registered professional nurse in Oregon.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
