Job Description
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Center-Based Behavior Technicians at Centria Autism. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in making a real difference in the lives of children with autism. Working under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will implement individualized behavior intervention plans, using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
We seek candidates who are passionate about helping children with autism reach their full potential. Being patient, compassionate, and able to work effectively in a team environment are essential qualities for this role. Even without prior experience, we offer comprehensive training to equip you in helping each child. Flexibility and physical stamina are key as our clients require movement activities, and the role involves various physical tasks including carrying children or objects up to 50 pounds.

Pay Range: $16 - $18 per hour
Requirements
- Passionate about helping children with autism
- Patient, compassionate, and thrives in a team setting
- Minimum age of 18 years
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification, and Tuberculosis test (if not within the last year)
- Conduct pre-employment background check
- Physical ability to perform various positions and lift up to 50 pounds
