Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Part-Time Center-Based Behavior Technicians at Centria Autism. As a Behavior Technician, you will have the rewarding opportunity to make a profound impact on the lives of children with autism. Working under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will implement individualized behavior intervention plans, employing evidence-based techniques to enhance communication, social, and daily living skills while mitigating interfering behaviors.

This role requires individuals who are passionate about empowering children with autism, showcasing patience, compassion, and exceptional teamwork skills. While experience is not mandatory, comprehensive training will be provided to equip you for success in this critical role. As children may exhibit unpredictable behaviors, part of your role will involve physical activity such as standing, walking, sitting, grasping, bending, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds.

Pay Range: $16 - $18 per hour

Requirements

  • Passionate about helping children with autism
  • Patient, compassionate, and strong team player
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification, and Tuberculosis test
  • Pass pre-employment background check
  • Physical capabilities to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds
