Job Description
We are looking for dedicated individuals to join Centria Autism as Center-Based Registered Behavior Technicians. In this role, you will work closely with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder to implement personalized behavior intervention plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Your responsibilities will include using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills, while also working on reducing interfering behaviors. As part of a supportive team, you will play a crucial role in positively impacting the lives of children and their families.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
- Utilize evidence-based techniques to support skill development and behavior reduction.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Provide compassionate care and support to children with autism.
Requirements
- Passionate about assisting children with autism.
- Patient, compassionate, and able to work cooperatively within a team.
- Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
- Ability to move in various positions and lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
