Comhar Inc. is seeking a Part Time Certified Peer Specialist to join our team at the Long Term Structured Residence (LTSR) in Walnutport, PA. As a Certified Peer Specialist, you will work within a multidisciplinary team to provide support, educational programs, and therapeutic interventions to individuals on their journey to recovery.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing educational and support groups.
• Provide training on skills outlined in recovery plans and positive coping strategies.
• Assist with activities of daily living, social skill building, vocational training, and health and wellness.
• Facilitate peer-supported initiatives and community meetings.
• Ensure documentation is accurate, timely, and compliant with regulations.
• Participate in quality improvement programs and attend training sessions.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 6 months related experience in mental health services.
• Valid PA State clearances, CPR w/AED & First Aid certification, and a valid driver's license.
• Physical examination, TB test, and Certified Peer Specialist Certification.
