Child Care Team Lead

Job Description

The Child Care Team Lead (CCTL) at VASA Fitness is responsible for building and developing a high-performing team to care for and ensure the well-being of children in the KidCare center. This role involves creating a welcoming environment, delivering entertaining programs, and maintaining a clean and safe space for mini-members. Additionally, the CCTL will support staffing and training, uphold KidCare standards, and ensure the safety of mini-members through proper procedures and regular safety scans.

Responsibilities

• Support staffing and training by forecasting staffing needs, scheduling and facilitating training for new Child Care Attendants, and creating a welcoming environment for candidates and new hires.
• Uphold KidCare standards by ensuring everyone feels welcome, driving policy execution, managing operating costs, and ensuring mini-members can participate in fun, entertaining programming. This includes flawless playbook execution, managing operating costs, and always maintaining a sparkling clean KidCare center.
• Ensure the safety of mini-members by following proper procedures for check-in and check-out, hourly safety scans, and maintaining clean, fixed, and well-maintained equipment and toys.
• Build and develop a high-performing team, establishing a culture that adheres to core values, attracting, hiring, coaching, and maximizing the engagement of the operations team at the club.
• Coach and support ongoing team member development by demonstrating enthusiasm for VASA values, building trust and strong relationships with all team members, and providing coaching in the moment that inspires commitment.
