Job Description
Bank Iowa Corporation is seeking a Community Bank President/Ag Lender to join our dynamic team in Newton. In this role, you will lead a team of Relationship Managers and Loan Assistants, generate quality Ag and Commercial loans, represent Bank Iowa in the community, build full relationships with clients, and actively participate in community activities to establish Bank Iowa as a center of influence.
Responsibilities
- Lead and champion the bank's values, culture, and strategic direction.
- Manage an agriculture and commercial loan portfolio while fostering client relationships.
- Actively participate in community activities to enhance the bank's visibility and influence.
- Approve loans within specified limits and refer loan applications outside those limits to management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Ag Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- Strong Agriculture background preferred.
- Minimum of 7+ years lending and banking experience as an Ag & Commercial Loan Officer.
- Extensive supervisory and management experience.
