Construction Project Director

Job Description

The Construction Project Director at BluSky is a key leadership role responsible for managing and closing new business opportunities within the commercial, industrial, government, and residential sectors. Collaborating closely with property owners and managers post-disaster, the Project Director develops cost estimates for restoration, renovation, environmental, and roofing services. This role involves overseeing sales, revenue, profit margins, AR & Collections, managing near-term opportunities, business development activity, estimating proficiency, customer satisfaction, and coordinating with internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed monthly and yearly sales goals.
• Negotiate and execute contracts on behalf of the company.
• Oversee and expedite revenue production in accordance with monthly goals.
• Develop and take ownership of project budget in compliance with vertical target margins.
• Perform weekly collection calls on all accounts.
• Work directly with clients & claims handling teams to close leads.
• Schedule and attend business development meetings with clients.
• Accurate sketching of affected areas and estimation proficiency.

Requirements

• 5+ years of marketing/business development and sales experience in restoration or construction industry.
• Intermediate-level Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience with estimating software such as Xactimate.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• OSHA 10 or 30, CPR, and First Aid certifications preferred.
