Construction Project Director

Job Description

The Construction Project Director at BluSky is responsible for managing and closing new business opportunities, working closely with owners and managers of properties damaged by disasters to develop cost estimates for various services. The role involves overseeing sales, revenue, profit margins, AR & collections, and managing near-term opportunities. Additionally, the Project Director is responsible for business development activities, estimating proficiency, ensuring customer satisfaction, and coordinating with internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage and close new business opportunities
• Develop cost estimates for restoration, renovation, environmental, and roofing services
• Oversee sales, revenue, profit margins, AR & collections
• Manage near-term opportunities
• Lead business development activities and estimating proficiency
• Ensure customer satisfaction and coordinate with internal teams

Requirements

• 5+ years marketing/business development and sales experience in restoration or construction industry
• Construction estimating and/or large loss and catastrophe experience
• Intermediate-level Microsoft Office skills
• Experience with Xactimate and other estimating software preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
