Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Diesel Mechanic/Technician C to join our team at Southeastern Freight Lines, Inc. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining various equipment used in freight transportation, including diesel tractors, straight trucks, and industrial forklifts.
Your daily tasks will include performing diagnostics, troubleshooting mechanical issues, conducting routine maintenance, and ensuring the overall functionality of the equipment to meet service schedules and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and analyze mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic breakdowns.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks and necessary repairs.
- Track work progress to maintain production efficiency.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid Driver's License.
- At least 6 months of relevant experience.
- Background check and drug test clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- ASE Certification.
- Prior experience in Diesel Engine Repair and Automotive Diagnostics.
Salary
$28.80 - $35.80 per hour.
