Facilities Equipment Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a Facilities Equipment Engineer to join Middle River Aerostructure Systems, a world-leading manufacturer of thrust reversers, engine nacelle components, and specialized aerostructures. As a Facilities Equipment Engineer, you will manage industrial equipment availability, maintain critical spares, and ensure equipment uptime through collaborative efforts with maintenance supervisors and project engineers.

Responsibilities

• Support and update equipment listings to maximize uptime.
• Define and secure critical spares needed for production equipment.
• Maintain appropriate levels of equipment spares and track purchases efficiently.
• Establish equipment uptime health board for performance communication.
• Coordinate maintenance tasks and schedules with internal teams.
• Contribute to facility projects and annual maintenance budgets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and creation of macros and VBA tools.
• Basic understanding of CNC and Robotic equipment.
• Ability to read OEM drawings and Electrical Schematics.

Desired Characteristics

• Experience in Aerospace Assembly, Machine Shop, or Composites Manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Continuous Improvement methodologies and CAD design.
• Inventory management and mechanical/electrical systems understanding.
• Skills in Machine Design, Additive Manufacturing, and laser alignment techniques.
