Job Description
Join our team at A&W Restaurants Inc. as a Field Trainer reporting to the Manager of Field Training. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring operational excellence and maintaining the highest standards of guest service across our Franchise Partners.
Essential Functions
- Execute strategic plans focusing on operational excellence and superior guest service.
- Train franchisees and restaurant staff on operating procedures.
- Enforce compliance with company standards and government regulations.
- Cultivate positive relationships with Franchise Partners.
- Act as a brand ambassador.
- Manage training resources and create new training materials.
- Facilitate training content during A&W University for management training.
- Coordinate and facilitate training for new restaurant openings.
- Provide operational support during new restaurant openings.
- Conduct on-site Brand Refreshers for existing restaurants.

Physical Demands
This role involves significant travel by both vehicle and airplane, requires standing, mobility, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Work Schedule
Full-time position, based in Lexington, KY, with flexible hours based on restaurant needs including weekends and evenings.
Travel
Travel up to 90% of the time within the US.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of training experience in various settings.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Flexibility in schedule and short-notice travel.
- Track record in sales, profit increase, and operational improvement.
