Food Expeditor - Prior experience as a Food Runner or Server is a plus but not required

Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW:
Food Expeditor is a Front of the House Associate supporting FOH Associates, ensuring Guest Satisfaction in Speed of Service and Accuracy of Orders.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

PEOPLE:

• Work as part of a team, liaise between FOH and HOH Associates.
• Support Servers in final plate garnish, plate presentation, and timely delivery to Guests.

BRAND DELIVERY:

• Be punctual with a positive attitude, adhere to uniform standards, and uphold Silver Diner brand.

COST BALANCING:

• Know all menu item specs, maintain the window organized, and cross-train when needed.

KEY TASKS:

• Assist Servers and Managers, set up station per standards, present menu items correctly, and maintain cleanliness.

REQUIREMENTS:

Previous restaurant experience preferred, ability to lift 50 pounds, withstand physical demands, and work weekends/holidays.

DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS:

• Strong aptitude for guest service, passion for quality, good memory, communication skills, urgency, multitasking ability, and organizational skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Physically demanding environment, involving food, equipment, and standing for long hours.
