Highway Design Engineer

Job Description

Join KS Engineers P.C., a leading engineering and construction management firm, in the role of Highway Design Engineer. We are seeking a proactive self-starter to work on detailed design projects for roadways, highways, and related infrastructure. As part of our team, you will collaborate with engineers to develop plans, perform calculations, and ensure project accuracy and compliance with design criteria.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on the design of roadway and highway projects.
• Develop plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Utilize software tools for engineering and drafting tasks.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5-15 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Bentley MicroStation, AUTOCAD, and MS Office.
• Prior experience in highway drainage design preferred.
• PE License, preferably in Connecticut.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
