Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Home Delivery Driver to join the Slumberland Furniture Delivery Team. As a Home Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in providing a positive customer experience through safe and efficient delivery and set-up of merchandise. If you are a self-starter with a genuine love for meeting new people, this position offers a rewarding opportunity to be a part of a supportive and friendly work environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver merchandise safely and efficiently.
- Establish customer greeting, conduct pre-inspection, set up merchandise, and ensure accurate delivery and returns.
- Perform daily vehicle maintenance and keep delivery vehicles clean and organized.
- Handle trucks and equipment properly to prevent injury or damage.
Requirements
- Must be 21+ years old.
- Strong work ethic, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills, ability to provide direction, and maintain accurate records.
- Flexible availability for day-shift schedules in a fast-paced environment.
- Must pass DOT requirements, criminal background check, and a drug screening.
