Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Home Delivery Driver to join our team at Slumberland Furniture. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by delivering and setting up merchandise for our customers in a safe and efficient manner. If you enjoy working independently, meeting new people, and take pride in offering a positive customer experience, then this role is perfect for you.
Responsibilities
- Deliver merchandise safely and effectively to customers.
- Perform pre-inspections, set up merchandise, and ensure accurate delivery and returns.
- Maintain clean and organized delivery vehicles.
- Ensure the proper handling and maintenance of trucks and equipment.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Strong work ethic, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Flexibility to work day-shift schedules throughout the week.
- Pass DOT requirements, criminal background check, and drug screening.
