Job Description
The Westin Long Beach is seeking a dedicated Hotel Engineer to ensure the property is always well maintained with minimal disruption to guests and staff. As a part of our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining all hotel equipment and systems.
Responsibilities
- Make repairs and perform preventive maintenance on various equipment, including HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Test and maintain swimming pools and spas.
- Troubleshoot and repair kitchen equipment.
- Complete painting, sheet rock, and wall covering repairs.
- Program and repair hotel electronic lock systems.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required; trade school or college coursework beneficial.
- At least one year of experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours and perform physical duties.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
