Job Description

We are looking for a Kentucky Certified Medication Technician to join our team at Calumet Trace Senior Living. As a Medication Aide, you will be responsible for safely administering medications and treatments to our residents, ensuring accurate documentation and maintaining a responsible demeanor to instill confidence in your abilities.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments according to schedules and protocols.
• Document accurately in medication records and resident charts.
• Communicate changes in resident conditions to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with medication records and re-ordering as needed.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the medication room and cart.
• Demonstrate proper techniques with various equipment as directed.
• Take accurate vital signs and weights.
• Complete incident reports and notify relevant parties of incidents or errors.

Requirements

• Experience working with the elderly population preferred.
• Proficiency in English preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks.
• Willingness to undergo a criminal background check.
