Role Summary
The Lead Machinist at Middle River Aerostructure Systems will work in a prototype, development, and production support machine shop, focusing on precision details. Responsibilities include programming, operating, and troubleshooting multi-axis NC and manual milling/turning equipment, as well as training other machinists.
Requirements
General:
- HS Diploma/GED Equivalent; Technical degree or (15) years Industry experience.
- Ability to work independently using technical specifications.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in productivity tools.
Machine Shop Specific:
- Develop NC programs and operate various equipment.
- Experience in machining different materials.
- Engage in low-volume, one-off projects.
