As a Lead Maintenance Technician, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the maintenance of production machinery, ensuring food safety and quality, cleanliness, and housekeeping.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Performing maintenance on production machinery using hand tools.
  • Ensuring food safety and quality.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
  • Communicating with other departments to ensure proper pass down of maintenance-related issues.
  • Documenting daily work assigned and troubleshooting equipment with minimal supervision.
  • Utilizing inventory parts to repair equipment and documenting issued parts.

Required Qualifications

  • Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal & written).
  • Physical capabilities including bending, lifting up to 50 lbs., kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely.
  • Comfort working in varied indoor and outdoor conditions with the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above).
  • Basic computer skills, hand tool proficiency, forklift operation, and mechanical aptitude.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1 year of previous production or maintenance experience.
  • Meat processing or food handling experience.
