Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited college with an A.S. in Physical Therapist Assistant recognized by the APTA.
- Current license and/or registration as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the applicable state.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of a PT based on state practice guidelines.
- Assist PT in patient identification and referral for rehabilitation.
- Document patient progress accurately and timely, obtaining PT co-signatures.
- Ensure MD orders for treatments, recertifications, and discharges are obtained.
- Complete all necessary documentation as per state guidelines.
