Job Description

We are hiring for a Maintenance position at La Quinta Boston - Somerville, a leading real estate investment and hospitality management company. As an essential member of our team, you will assist with the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment, ensuring a seamless experience for our guests. Your role will involve various tasks, such as changing light bulbs, performing preventative maintenance on guest rooms, and servicing kitchen equipment, to maintain our high standards of quality and service.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance for various areas, including guest rooms, ice machines, refrigerators, and HVAC systems.
• Conduct plumbing repairs, monitor energy conservation, and respond to alarms promptly.
• Complete tasks as assigned by supervisors or managers.

Requirements

• Experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Licensure in a trade (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.) is preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver's license for the applicable state.
• Must have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Driving Record (MVR) specific to the property.
