Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team at POAH Communities. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, security, and comfort of our residents, visitors, and staff. Your responsibilities will include conducting preventative maintenance, addressing repairs, and maintaining a clean and safe environment throughout our community.
Responsibilities
- Insuring a safe, secure, and comfortable living environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
- Knowledge of laws, EPA, and OSHA regulations.
- Performing routine preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment.
- Coordinating make-ready repairs and services.
- Assisting in keeping grounds neat and clean.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in apartment maintenance.
- High School diploma or GED required. HVAC certification preferred.
- Valid Driver's License and automobile insurance coverage.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule with weekends and on-call basis.
- Skilled in the use and maintenance of tools and equipment.
- Capable of physical duties and working in various weather conditions.
