Maintenance Technician - $500 sign-on bonus

Job Description

Responsible for the overall maintenance of the physical plant, under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager.

Responsibilities

• EPA and HVAC certification preferred.
• CPO certification preferred.
• Participate in all types of maintenance projects.
• Assist with electrical repairs, plumbing work, painting, carpentry, and grounds work.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on all equipment based on the manufacturers' recommendations.
• Inspect units, buildings, and common areas, and perform necessary repairs and janitorial assistance as scheduled.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Prior maintenance experience or experience in a related field.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and write routine reports and correspondence.
• Valid driver's license and insurability.
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting and moving up to 100 pounds, climbing stairs and ladders, and reaching heights of 8 feet.
• Willingness to work in various areas beyond repair maintenance, such as janitorial, custodial, and gardening.
