Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Manager of Finance to join our team at Gastroenterology Associates of the Piedmont. In this role, you will collaborate with the CEO and practice leadership to oversee the financial performance of the practice and manage ancillary services. You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing financial goals, monitoring financial activities, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee financial operations of the practice and ancillary services.
  • Develop and implement financial goals and standards in alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Produce timely financial reports and conduct financial analysis for strategic initiatives.
  • Participate in the leadership team to contribute to the organization's vision and objectives.
  • Manage accounting, budgeting, and audit controls to minimize risk.
  • Identify cost-effective solutions and ensure compliance with government regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration, CPA or MBA preferred.
  • Ten years of related experience, preferably in healthcare.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet and accounting software programs.
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with Crystal reports and SQL queries.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Epic software is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of desk work and computer usage.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
