Manufacturing Supervisor

Job Description

We are currently seeking a talented Manufacturing Supervisor to join Select Industries Corp. As a Production Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency and quality in production. Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate production plans and schedules to maximize employee, equipment, and material utilization while meeting quality standards.
• Collaborate with the Manager to achieve production targets, quality requirements, and safety standards.
• Provide training and development to associates, ensuring performance expectations are met.
• Analyze data to identify causes of scrap and implement corrective actions.
• Work with leadmen to improve press setups and job output.
• Ensure employees adhere to standard job rates and investigate variances.
• Address safety issues promptly and coordinate equipment maintenance schedules.
• Conduct performance evaluations, recommend personnel actions, and communicate goals to associates.
• Direct and guide associates to meet schedules and quality expectations.
• Work towards company goals such as on-time delivery, scrap reduction, and maintaining 5-S principles.
• Adhere to IATF16949 Standards and enforce proper PPE compliance.
• Perform additional job duties upon request.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience, including hiring decisions.
• Background in manufacturing or leadership, preferably in metal stamping.
• Knowledge of Stamping, Dies, Presses, and experience in the automotive industry is a plus.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to build effective teams.

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Eye-hand coordination and tolerance for high noise levels.
