Role Summary/Purpose
The Materials & Process Engineer will be responsible for managing engineering specification documentation and coordinating internal technical documents. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the engineer will lead engineering specification change board meetings, standardize documentation templates, and ensure accurate communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the focal for managing engineering specification documentation.
- Coordinate/lead engineering specification change board meetings.
- Standardize/update documentation templates.
- Create engineering change documentation and substantiation.
- Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
- Execute plans to achieve defined project and departmental goals.
- Ensure effective, timely, and accurate communication to internal and external customers.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering or related field.
- Technical background in composites or materials-based industry.
- Knowledge of engineering control and configuration management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Organizational skills with attention to detail.
- US Citizenship or permanent residency.
