We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Merchandise Handler to join our team at Slumberland Furniture. As a Merchandise Handler, you will be responsible for efficiently moving, storing, and distributing merchandise, ensuring accuracy and customer satisfaction. This role involves utilizing forklift operations and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently move and organize merchandise to maximize space utilization.
• Handle incoming and outgoing merchandise, ensuring quality and accuracy.
• Provide training and guidance to other team members.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Adhere to safety protocols and practices to prevent damage to equipment or merchandise.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; GED is acceptable.
• Basic math skills and knowledge of tools and hardware assembly.
• Valid driver's license and basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to operate a forklift is a plus.
