Position: Merchandise Handler

Salary: Competitive pay starting at $17 per hour
Primary Objective & Scope of Position:
This role involves handling merchandise efficiently within the warehouse, including storing, moving, and distributing products. As a Merchandise Handler, you will set an example for other team members and provide training whenever necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently move and organize merchandise to optimize space usage.
- Handle merchandise movement to and from the show floor, ensuring proper display or storage.
- Utilize the point of sale (POS) system for managing merchandise flow.
- Ensure accuracy in customer orders and system records.
- Receive incoming shipments and pack outgoing products with care and accuracy.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Provide training to fellow employees, demonstrating best practices.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Resolve inventory discrepancies promptly and keep management informed.
- Adhere to safety protocols, ensuring equipment and merchandise are handled correctly.
- Assist with grounds and building maintenance as needed.
Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or GED (or currently working towards)
Skills: Basic math skills, knowledge of tools and hardware components, valid driver's license, basic computer knowledge (POS knowledge desirable)
