While not requiring a CDL, certification may be necessary based on State law.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicle safely, following all guidelines.
• Ensure a positive work environment by engaging with team members.
• Check and organize orders accurately, securing loads for delivery.
• Seek approval for load conditions from supervisors.
• Maintain cleanliness in yard and warehouse areas.
• Deliver materials efficiently and unload to customer satisfaction.
• Complete daily equipment inspections and necessary paperwork.
• Provide exceptional customer service and handle returned goods professionally.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and management.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Minimum education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum experience: 2 years of truck driving experience, lumber dumping preferred.
• Basic math skills, ability to read orders and complete forms.
• Effective communication with customers, peers, and supervisors.
• Conflict resolution skills and safe lifting techniques.
• Valid operator's license and adherence to company driver qualifications.
• Physical capability for lifting and working in various conditions.
• Proficiency with business technologies like smartphones and GPS.
