Operations Director

Job Description

Anderson Dahlen is seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead the operations team in executing the production plan efficiently across multiple sites. The ideal candidate will drive safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery while embracing Lean Manufacturing principles and Continuous Improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure operational performance in safety, quality, productivity, and delivery.
• Develop strategies to meet business goals efficiently.
• Collaborate with senior management on strategic planning and goal setting.
• Establish departmental policies and practices for consistency.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing principles for operational improvement.
• Allocate resources based on business priorities.
• Establish KPIs, goals, and performance reporting.
• Lead and develop high-performing teams.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to achieve company goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in operations management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience, including management experience.
• Experience in food & beverage, industrial, pharmaceutical, or vacuum manufacturing.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ASME, and Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Strong leadership, team building, and decision-making skills.

Physical Requirements

This role primarily involves office work; however, familiarity with manufacturing environments is beneficial.
