Job Description
The Pool Maintenance Tech at Amrit Ocean Resort & Residences is responsible for cleaning and maintaining all pools and related areas to the highest standards. Reporting to the Pool Maintenance Supervisor/Water Treatment Manager, the tech ensures proper maintenance according to the hotel's standards.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
- Effectively communicate with employees and guests in a service-oriented manner.
- Prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
- Attend required meetings and trainings.
- Maintain high personal grooming standards and comply with hotel regulations.
- Maximize productivity, identify problem areas, and implement solutions.
- Understand and apply complex information to meet objectives.
- Maintain confidentiality and show initiative in guest and operational needs.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Proficient in water life safety techniques.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand during entire shifts.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of pool maintenance, plumbing repairs, and cleaning procedures.
- Record keeping of temperature and chemical levels.
- Perform deep cleaning and complete special projects as assigned.
