Production Worker

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Production Worker to join our Atomizer department at the Oakdale, PA facility. As a critical part of the atomization process, you will be responsible for transforming molten metal into powder using high-pressure inert gas. The resulting powder will undergo various stages before being solidified, enhancing its durability for applications in aerospace, nuclear, and national defense.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate equipment for the atomization process.
• Weigh and prepare raw materials to meet product chemistry requirements.
• Efficiently prepare heats for continuous atomization.
• Perform various refractory tasks.
• Clean, assemble, and inspect equipment for melt preparation.
• Ensure all equipment and materials are ready for atomization.
• Handle furnace removal and installation tasks.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Manufacturing, Military, or Industrial experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
