Job Description

The Registered Nurse II position at ART 7 West HOPE unit involves providing individualized, goal-directed patient care for Adult Bone Marrow Transplant, CAR-T Cell Therapy, and Malignant Hematology patients. The role requires nurses to complete specialized training and encourages obtaining certifications in various oncology areas. Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse II delivers safe and effective care while collaborating with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized patient care following the nursing process.
• Interact with healthcare team members to achieve desired outcomes.
• Complete mandatory ongoing cancer-specific education.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred.
• Licensure as a registered nurse in South Carolina or compact state.
• Current Basic Life Support certification required.
• Minimum one year of nursing experience.

Physical and Mental Requirements

The role involves various physical and mental demands, including standing, walking, lifting, and dealing with stressful situations. Candidates must have good sensory functions and the ability to work rotating shifts.
