Registered Nurse (RN) - La Casa Family Practice (PRN)

Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join the La Casa Family Practice team at Denver Health in a PRN capacity. In this role, you will provide patient care and education in an outpatient setting, working with diverse patients and families to promote health and wellness across the lifespan. As an essential part of our ambulatory care services, you will apply critical thinking, evidence-based practices, and collaboration to ensure excellence in patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Implement evidence-based care plans and treatments in coordination with the healthcare team.
• Assess patient needs and communicate effectively with patients and the healthcare team.
• Support interdisciplinary healthcare teams through supervision, education, and problem-solving.
• Maintain accurate records, prepare patients for examinations, and promote a positive patient experience.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• 1-3 years of experience in direct patient care.
• Valid BLS/CPR and Registered Nurse licenses.
• Knowledge of professional nursing standards, patient assessment, and healthcare documentation systems.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in emergency situations.
