Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Surge Hospital- Based Correctional Care (Nights - 0.9 FTE)

Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Denver Health's Correctional Care Med Fac CCMF unit. As an RN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, compassionate care to contracted correctional patients, covering a range of medical/surgical needs across various specialties.

Job Responsibilities

• Assess the health needs of patients and communities.
• Maintain accurate patient records and monitor their condition.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and modify care plans.
• Administer nursing care, medication, and provide patient education.
• Promote a positive patient experience and ensure their safety.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
• Less than 1 year of direct patient care experience preferred.
• Valid BLS and RN licenses.
• Knowledge of professional nursing standards, patient care, and medical equipment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

$34.00 - $55.53 per hour
