Job Description
Koopman Lumber Co is looking for a Rider - Helper to join our team at our Sutton, MA location. As a Rider - Helper, you will be responsible for the safe and courteous delivery and handling of building materials to customer facilities. You will work alongside drivers to load and unload delivery trucks efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload delivery trucks.
- Ensure the quality of shipments leaving the facility.
- Follow all safety measures and guidelines.
- Assist with handling windows, cabinets, and doors.
- Perform additional warehouse duties as required.
Additional functions and duties may be assigned by supervisors as deemed appropriate.
Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry 75-100 pounds.
- Experience in a lumber yard or warehouse environment is beneficial.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Working Conditions
- Work indoors in a warehouse environment and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
