Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in a critical care setting.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in patient's clinical condition.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and patient care records.
• Follow medication administration protocols ensuring patient safety.
• Treat patients and their families with respect and dignity.
• Assess patient conditions, formulate individualized care plans, and evaluate daily for effectiveness.
• Interpret patient data, identify specific needs, and provide age-appropriate care.
• Assist physicians with procedures in the ICU and other departments.
• Interact professionally with patients and families to involve them in the care plan.

Qualifications

Education:

• Associates Degree in Nursing, Required
• Bachelors Degree, Preferred

Required Licenses:

• Must have a current Mississippi RN license or a Compact State RN license.

Required Certifications:

• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), ACLS, and HWC Certifications required within 90 days of hire.
• PALS recommended.

Required Skills:

Critical thinking, judgment, ability to work under minimal supervision, handle stress effectively, and strong communication skills.

Salary

Minimum: $30.0 per hour

Maximum: $50.0 per hour
